Looking back over the thread to do a summary, there is so much to thank God for in the past month or so:
Bobsmum coming more or less unscathed through a car crash, with bean intact, Podglet's bean doing well in 'secret' and most of all Pepperpot's wonderful news. God is good, never doubt it.

Lots of large and small struggles:
CaptainCaveman, CaptainDippy, MaryBS, Mufti, NQGU, Roseylea, Zipadisuzy and probably quite a few others struggling with negative feelings, anxiety and feelings of being a 'bad mummy'. Praying that you will derive your self worth from your Heavenly Father Who knows 'how we are made' and loves us with an unfailing love.
Harrisey with decisions to make about future ministry
NSFN for wisdom regarding relationships.
QueenofQuotes - giving thanks for a better relationship.
Creambunnie for wisdom and strength in dealing with a difficult marriage.
PandaG for a new job that's just right

Praying with ChocolatePeanut for poorly mother and baby, giving thanks that the news so far is good.

And giving thanks with Dumbledoresgirl for the recovery of NASW/Losty, who is now PhoenixSoaring, how marvellous is that?

We keep praying for OnlyJoking and MummytoT&F, who are both still in very hard places.

MumtoGusnAlbie, MorticiasMother, NotanOtter and Shreksmissus, let us know how we can continue to pray for you. If I have forgotten to mention anybody, God never forgets and He loves you.
And everyone who has a look at this thread, we know that 'our help comes from Him Who has made heaven and earth, Who loved us before we were formed and Who never abandons what He has begun. Praise be to His Holy Name.

You're a star DO

I've got my 12 week scan on Friday morning. Being the paranoid-rug-pulling kind of person that I am, could you pray that all is still well with the bobling.

Also still waiting for a reasonable (ha ha) offer from the insurance company for our written off car, so we can afford a new one.

Congratulations Pepperpots

thanks DO I think "better" relationship is an understatment - it's positively blooming ;

And my dear Grandad is still hanging on in there - we're taking the DS's down to see him at the end of the month so he can meet his newest Great-grandson

Prayers for everyone else.

QoQ

Well I went to church this pm (I love having my own key! ) and cried and prayed. I'm feeling a lot better for it, so praying that it continues. Basically I said I can accept (I think) what is happening to me, that my suffering does indeed bring me closer to God, but why my son? Maybe when I'm a little calmer and listen, I'll know why...

Did I mention I love having my own key for church?

having your own key for church is fabulous isn't it - I get one as the Director of Music - and I love being able to go in whenever I want to

CD - have you gone quite bonkers or will that make sense to QoQ???

Thanks for the roundup DO. Let's not forget prayers for your lovely self as you continue to fight the cough. May God heal you

Mary - glad you feel better for today (how fab to have your own key) echoing what DO said, your DS is perfect to Him. My friend (whose DS2 has Aspergers) has a fab book on the subject, would you like me to get the title and author from her for you?

Bobsmum - have exactly the same thoughts as you re the scan - keeping everything crossed for you for Friday.

Have a dr's appointment for Weds am to try and get my tired old bones sorted out

toes are strapped and bandaged which has helped with the discomfort, so not too bad considering.

DD2 is doing really well at the mo thoguht i'd updated but that might just have been my postnatal thread (so busy at the mo!), her rash is fading, and the consultant thinks this is a sign that it might disappear completly, so huge thanks for all your prayers and long may it continue, the prayers and the rash disappearing, The other doctor we saw with respect to the diahorrea has given us some different meds which too seem to be helping, only one bout since she started on them which is an improvement from once a week. so all in all good.

Yes, podglet - QofQ will know what I am talking about - Not that I am not bonkers anyway.

Right, need to put some tea on and wake poor DH up.

coul i add a request please? i am plunging back into depression, having had baby no 2 in may with only a 22 month gap. it might be post natal but i am prone to epression anyway so hard to tell.... just strength to cope each day and to know what support to look for. Thanks.....

I know DS is perfect in God's eyes, he's pretty much there in my eyes too! I didn't mean that way. What bothers me is seeing him extremely upset because he can't do things, and knowing how much I hurt when I was growing up due to my own social awkwardness and inability to make friends, the bullying etc. and fearing the same for him.

Podglet, yes it would be good to know the book. I was given this link (which made me cry!):

Asperger Syndrome in the parish

nowweare4 - hi there are a fair few of us on this thread that suffer from depression or anxiety or similar from time to time - more than happy to pray for you too. I had a very low patch a for a while a few weeks ago, but am slowly coming through it. Praying for peace and energy for you too.xx
