i will certainly say a pray for her and have also also sent a message. my son also has heart problems and when he was 5 months old had open heart surgery and a pacemaker fitted. not as bad as needing a transplant but i know how she feels to have a heart child. have they tried the wessex childrens heart circle?

oh god, not another young life being destroyed by DCM (peters reason for needed a transplant) i will pray that a donor heart becomes available.

i wonder if they can use an artificial heart to buy some time?

Ah DutchOma, it now makes sense nice to meet you in a virtual sense

LVOC I wondered if they could use a virtual heart, the same day this was in the paper on the opposite page was a story about a little boy who had been saved by one of these. It just seems so very tragic, like with peters case, how one day everything okay and then the next your whole world has been turned upside down.

its a horrible horrible illness. the virus took away everything. he was stable as he was seen early on (mind you he was ill for two weeks before he finally got seen at hospital as GP was useless) and the drugs kept him going. it was still touch and go over the first weekend, but he proved back then what a tough cookie he is.

i really do hope she gets a heart intime, it needs to come from a child though doesnt it much be such a hard thing to do.

sadly Brook died last night after a series of complications. Never has a child resembled an angel so much, I am sure she is with them now. Thank you for your prayers, I am now praying her family have the strength to carry on
