Tarot readers... Confused!

I was doing a reading for someone (distance) - but as I was doing it, it felt weird... like it wasn't their reading.

It was a different spread to usual, so I put it down to that.

I did one for myself afterwards and it felt normal again.

The original person says (as I was expecting) that she can't relate to any of it.

How am I doing readings for unknown people?? Was I just completely off focus when i started? was really weird - I knew as I was doing it that it wasn't for her.

You sure it wasn't coming through for yourself?

sometimes if its a distance reading, your own issues can call the cards instead of the one you're trying to read for.

Hmmm... it didn't feel like me either. Its odd, I don't often do anyone BUT her (me included). I mimght try asking the same thing for me and see what happens!

Flamey, will ask my mum, she uses cards more than I do. Get back to you as soon as I can.

This happens occasionally. Was it a phone reading? If so, yuo could have asked as you were going through does this relate to you? if was written/ passed on it could be you just didn't connect and she was not meant to get guidance on this issue. Or, there is the option that she doesn't want to face up to what you said and is in denial. Or maybe spirit has given you info that will relate to her life later on. I always tape my readings - if clients don't agree with what I've said I'll leave the tape with them and take no fee. Theycan call me as and when what I've told them fits. Hope this makes sense - I work as a professional clairvoyant and tarot reader. I've done loads of readings and only had this happen once. One of these times i felt the client just didn't want to pay me!

I only do readings for myself and this one other person. I do them for her when I feel the need (I do check first!!).

I have various empath things going on, and I think that it could be that that's playing up with it - I'm not sure I was entirely "me" when I started, hence the skewed reading.

It wasn't so much that she couldn't relate, she couldn't, but I also felt as I was doing it that it wasn't for her. I kept it very very specific, so the some time in the future bit isn't really an issue.

I think I've probably answered my own problem here haven't I?

Thank you for all the responses.
