I am quite superstitious but usually (and I am touching wood here)this is not a bad day for me. I quite like the number 13 and wondered if anyne had a Friday the 13th story to share.

Titania that sounds awful. I was a SAHM for 6 years and never got used to being ill and not getting any rest at all. Now I work when I am sick the kids daily routine continues and it is much better I really feel for you. Big hug and kidney infections are painful as well.

My ds born Friday 13th October 2000. Best day of my life .

i cant drink cranberry juice.....there is something in it that oxidises and can cause kidney stones if you are prone to them.....which i am!!! drinking loads of barley water instead!!

ds2 was due on the 12th feb 04, and the next day was friday the 13th....as i was having a home birth, I didn't want him to be born on that day!!! Thank goodness he was born on 11th feb!!!

2 of my friends at primary school were born on friday the 13th!! One of them is always having things go wrong....the other is now a sucessful business man!!!

So far this morning I've managed to: step out in front of a car (luckily didn't have ds with me and the driver stopped...); bang ds's head on the staircase while I was taking him out of his buggy; bang his head on my elbow, FFS, three minutes later while giving him a bye-bye hug at nursery.
NOT a good day, esp for poor ds!

I left my changing bag at the baby massage class resulting in a two hour round trip walk to retrieve it, and I seem to have been bitten by a spider(???) under my arm. So not a very exciting fri the 13th story, but not a good day!

Is it possible to be bitten by a spider???? I always thought they only ate flies!
