Pagans on the Isle of Man?

I’ve changed my name because this question is very outing; but for ages I’ve been interested in paganism, when I was younger I was into witches and so is my child now.
Anyway, I am on the Isle of Man and I would love to meet a coven here, Ihave never found anything. I emailed an individual I found by google but I never got a response.
So yeah, if you know of any coven or person into wicca o paganism I’d love to hear it!
Also feel free to discuss anything related in this thread, I always felt very spiritual but never have done anything about it.

I doubt anyone in rl would just come out and tell a stranger about being in a coven.

If you want to find pagans and like minded people, start by looking at their festivals, and maybe join in. Morris groups often will be out for the mayday dawn, summer solstice and winter solstice ect....

Look for your local Morris group and see what events and dates they are at, then go along and enjoy the event and possibly meet other people.

Witchvox is usually a good source for groups but there is nothing listed there for the Isle of Man sadly.

TheWitchAndTrevor I don’t want to be in a coven, just talk to them; I also thought maybe they do open meetings or something. I am quite shy so I can’t see myself just going to a festival, and I’ve never heard of one in the area. I’ll look for Morris groups, thanks!

I checked earlier for you, isle of man have traditional manx dancers. There is a group call perree bane.

Manx history looks rich in Celtic/ pre Christianity folk law. I think you will find lots manx history/traditional type clubs about. I not saying everyone who attends would be pagan but you will soon find out who is, and maybe get chatting.

The festivals I mentioned aren't closed gatherings. They are usually in public places that Morris troop have on their calender. So Mayday will be on a hill or at local beacon or something, it will be at sunrise and everyone and anyone is welcome to come and observe, or join in the singing and dancing.

Although the little I have read this afternoon I found May day is very important on isle of man for other reasons too.

You could go and hang out at one of your local neolithic sites at dawn this Friday. Many open rituals will be held around the country to celebrate the return of the sun.

@Brujita Try contacting the Pagan Federation of England and Wales; their North West District covers the Isle of Man and they should be able to give you information on meetings and events. They have a Facebook group too.
