Calling all psychics - advice needed!

I've had the 'gift' for a while now but only started to use it professionally in last 6 months. I've started working at psychic fairs and private readings and was just wondered if anyone else had experience of these? I must say I feel as if being new on the scene is a real test - some of the other more established psychics are not as 'spiritual' as I'd hoped and I'm finding the whole thing competetitive and stressful! My clients have been great but it's such a draining job with small children- age 4 and 1. I had thought it'd be easy , but, well, anyway, just wanted to let off steam!!!

I'd be joining the queue too!! Something I've always wanted done.

You are very very lucky to have the gift you do do so keep it up. I imagine how it must feel very comptitive but once people realise you are good and are genuine I should imagine it would be quite easy to build a regular client base. Good luck!

hi tarotmum i've had readings before in spiritualist churches and everyone has said i should be doing their job! haven't gone regularly btw, only once a 6mths, if that makes sense. i have done readings for friends before now and dp regularly gets given messages whether or not he wants them (esp if they're from his mom!)

anyway, ehat i'm saying is that good luck tm, good mediums are hard to find and really good ones are few and far between. keep it up

btw everyone has the gift but not everyone uses it - they may have blocked it off completely when they were little and grew older.

Can I ask a question while there are knowledeable people on the subject.... I once went to a psychic fair with a friend. She went forward to have a reading (I think the lady was doing tarot but not sure, was a few years ago) I was standing quite a bit back from the table. After about 5-10 minutes, the woman doing the reading asked me to go away because she was picking up too much from me and couldn't get anything from my friend because of that.

It has bugged me ever since... what did she mean - what sort of things would she have been 'picking up'?

I would love to have a reading too. It really interests me. Unfortunatly never seen any fairs where there are readings being done.

she may have meant too much "interference". some people at fairs aren't very genuine but can tell from basic body language if you are suspicious of them and she may have realised before your friend did. on the other hand, she may have also been picking up information from your aura, or psychically, or from your body language etc etc etc - if she were genuine, this may have blocked the reading for your friend but a genuine medium would've passed on the messages for both of you. if i were the lady in the tent, i would not have asked you to leave as you may have been there to offer your friend support and tbh i am not sure what to make of this woman. (sorry for long post with no paragraphs!)

I definatetly wasn't suspicious - I'm very interested in this kind of thing and have always wanted to have a reading of some type, but always been a bit nervous for some reason!

A local shop had an open evening recently which I went to and they had aura readers, a spiritual medium and therapists there giving tasters. It was really good. I had a lovely aura picture/reading done. Keep it up tarotmum.
