Anyone any suggestions for a baptism gift for an 8 year old boy that he will appreciate?

The Magic of Reality by Richard Dawkins.

A good edition of a classic book. The Chronicles of Narnia are always a good choice, because of the allegory.

Dawkins is not suitable for this occasion, unless you actually want to be rude and tactless (better to politely decline the invitation than take up that suggestion which really has no place in a diverse society. Just as wrong as a giving a Koran for a Bar Mitzvah).

I bought my Godson an engraved box with a rollerball pen and propelling pencil in, for his first Holy Communion. He loved it and was 8 so similar age. It was from personalised gifts and a reasonable price

The Bible for Minecrafters is new and Might appeal to an 8 year old.
