Praying with Saints - Saint Expedite

Over the past few months I have been introduced by my meditation teacher to praying with saints.

Having come from a pretty non-religious background and also a standpoint of not really believing in the possibility that this sort of thing could affect my life in any significant way, I have now come to the point where I will regularly pray, and have found it has added a lot more peace and contentment to my life.

One Saint which I was introduced to was Saint Expedite, so-called because of his apparent ability to help with things such as conflict resolution and swift assistance when people are in need.

Part of this 'contract' for help is to say a public thank you, and to spread this saints name. I believed it sounded hookey as anything when I first heard it, however for me things since I did these prayers have settled down a lot.

Strange thread I suppose, but I would like to say my public thank you to St Expedite for assistance here and offer his name so anyone else who feels they want to investigate or pray to this saint has a chance to go and find out for themselves a little more information. (Google is your friend, loads of resources online).

I am aware this makes me sound woo woo, but actually this saint I believe in and I believe he has helped my life. Make of that what you like, I'm spreading his name!!

:)

You are invoking Mercury the same force or pagan god, Hermes in another culture.

Why would you have to go public to say thanks?
Invoking the energies of any being will bring their essence to you, glad you've found some assistance.

I've never heard of that Saint.

Glad your problem worked out though.

Hi sunday

I have heard of St Expedite, I think I actually did a Novena to him once. I also like to work with St Jude and a few other saints. I know a lot of people think this is woo but I believe it works. Each to their own right:)

The public saying of thanks is a way to acknowledge their work for you. This is not the case for all saints but I think it is for St Expedite and also St Jude. Glad someone started a thread on this. Very seldom I hear people talking about this in public. (I am on a woo forum too where things like this are talked about a lot).

Good luck.
