Bizarre dream- any interpretation?

I was back in the house I grew up in (that was sold 22 years ago). I was trying to watch something on TV but my mum and the girl I work with (who don't know eachother) came in and said they needed the room for something involving headphones. I said they could use the back room because they didn't need the TV but they insisted and turfed me out.

I went in the back room and there were blue lovebirds everywhere- on the floor, on the furniture. There were also hordes of junior-school aged children clomping about in shoes and not looking where they were walking. Then my little dog came running in trying to get the birds on the floor and I realised i couldn't see properly to pick them up because I didn't have my glasses on.

There was a man stood in the doorway to the conservatory with the door (that we rarely used) open, and all these kids going in and out with these birds flying loose. I shouted at them to shut the door. I started gathering up the birds and putting them back in their cage, only to realise it wasn't big enough and they wouldn't all fit.

Anyone got any idea what that was all about? I do have lovebirds but only 3 and they are green and yellow, and don't fly loose

sorry for taking so long to post the closesty i can get to a meaning for you is you are trying to control your emotions and something you have no control over is making you feel anxious or uncertain perhaps because it remains you of how you felt when younger
