Can you feel it when someone is thinking about you or vice versa?

I am wondering whether anyone else has experienced this.

Often with people I am very close to 'spiritually' I will try to call them or email them at exactly the same time as they do me.

Sometimes I will have a really vivid dream about someone and then hear from them the next day.

Other times I won't be able to stop thinking about someone and I know it's because they are thinking about me, sorry I know that sounds strange.

Do you mean like a friend not in spirit? Me and my dad go to phone each other at the same time loads!! And I always know when my best friend isn't ok, and she even said this the last time we went out.

Hi Mink It doesn't sound strange to me. When we think about someone, it creates a link to their energy. I used to start thinking about people I'd not seen for years and then later that day I'd see them. I have no idea how to explain that one, or did I just pick up that they would be somewhere near me soon? I have no idea.
I do know that we are all connected through our energetic essences, therefore this is normal and natural. HOwever, not to everyone - if you haven't experienced it - it can be difficult to explain.

This is just because of randomness and chance and not magic or mental energy or any other made up thing.

It is statistically likely that coincidences like this happen in life and there is usually statistical bias which make it more likely (e.g. An event in the news make two people with shared experiences think of one another, so they both call the other person).

It would be much more amazing if these coincidences never happened.

Not understanding statistics is not a good reason to make up mystical explanations. You have to realise that there are an infinite number of "events" in the universe and so coincidences happen every second of every day.

Download the radio 4 podcast called "The Infinite Monkey Cage" there is an episode called "randomness, probability and chance" which will explain it all, in a very amusing way.
