My dear old dad died 13 years ago and of course as time passes the days when you think about them, let alone dream about them becomes infrequent....at least for me. I can't remember the last time I dreamt about him. Well, I dreamt about him this week. It was a strange dream in which I kept thinking, I must get in touch, I must call him or see him. When I woke up it took what seemed like forever to remember that he had actually died. I felt sad but moved on.

Today, I found out that he has been mentioned in a not insignificant way in an autobiography recently released. I won't say who though. It is such a wonderful thing and i'm so proud of him and feel quite teary. There is even a small photo too. I have ordered my copy!!

I just feel the dream and the book must be related in some way. I had no idea about the book until today. I have had a similar thing happen many many years ago.

Just thought I would share.....but not the name of the book.

thanks for reading

  • I just googled recent autobiogs and the 1st one that came up was called 'proof of heaven' written by a neurosurgeon about the afterlife

That's lovely that your dad is mentioned in an autobiography. Smile

As for the dream, if its purpose was to let you know about the biography why didn't someone in the dream say 'Hey, there's a biography coming out and your dad is mentioned in it. The ISBN is....'? I would say the dream is one of those coincidences and seeing how we're programmed to look for patterns you've seen a connection many people probably would although reality tells us there can be none.

I suppose logically and rationally you're right but there are a hell of alot of coincidences in my life to make me think otherwise Smile

thanks

Fair enough, but tell me what areas of your life you use logic etc, and what areas you don't?

good question, I suppose I probably don't apply logic to matters of the heart. I still like to think that these are more than just coincidence Wink

sadbutproud, I am on the same wavelength as you. I fully appreciate what you are going through, I've been there myself.
As you have experienced - there is no logic that can be applied (And why would you want to?) when it comes to the synchronicities of the eternal energies of our souls. Even though our passed on loved ones are on our minds most of the time, it does help ime to have a dream every now and then, even if it's only to shed even more tears of the sadness of them not being in the physical anymore. After my own father's passing I had several long, detailed dreams. I am only now able to see what he was trying to tell me. I am still amazed.
I feel the dream and the book are related, and there is no need to analyse this, for yourself or anyone. Much Love xxxx IB
