What to feed pregnant cat?

My cat is 6 weeks pregnant and looking really thin. She's never been particularly hefty, is wormed and vaccinated and looks well otherwise - shiny coat, bright eyes etc.
In herself she seems ok, she gets out and about between lengthy snoozes and catches the odd meal supplement!

At the moment she's getting a sachet of meat + biscuit in morning, tablespoon of cooked mince and biscuit at lunch and another sachet in evening. She has biscuit in her bowl at all times. If you run a finger down her back you can really fill her spine, and apart from her big tummy, her flanks look quite hollow. I've spoken to the vet who say to keep on as we are, but was just wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what else to build her up with.

I wondered about the ready made cat milk - the vet rather sneered at it, but I was told it was quite fattening.

Or may be I'm worrying too much? Advice please!

we fed ours with kitten food (wet and dry) and gave her bowls of cat milk. She too is a slim cat.

We gave ours kitten food too. She is naturally a slim cat, but did get very thin whilst pregnant and nursing. The vet wasn't concerned, and she built back up to her normal weight fairly quickly afterwards.

I think if she likes cat milk (mine won't touch it) then you are not going to do any harm giving it to her. It will be a nice treat for her and may help build her up.

I tried kitten food, but atm gives her the runs a bit. Will get some of the milk tho' and see what happens. Thanx
