FfreckleFface Fri 04-Sep-09 22:27:13

Controversial, I know, but we've got two Rottweilers, and I adore them.

thesunshinesbrightly Fri 04-Sep-09 22:28:55

oh yes rotties they are HANDSOME dogs

love them.

plonker Fri 04-Sep-09 22:32:41

My very favourite breed is the Golden Retriever smile

I have a very soft spot for Border Collies too.

I also like Border Terriers ...they seem such joyful little dogs!

...agree that Rotties are lovely-looking dogs, very handsome indeed.

elastamum Fri 04-Sep-09 22:35:55

Labradoodles!!!! Ive got two grin

FfreckleFface Fri 04-Sep-09 22:39:21

Ours are very handsome. Girldog is very serious, and carries her large self with dignity. Boydog is daft as a brush.

Our friends have border collies and they are lovely. High maintenance though - still on the go long after mine have turned into cushions!

thesunshinesbrightly Fri 04-Sep-09 22:42:03

rotties are sooooo graceful

love watching them.

2shoes Fri 04-Sep-09 22:42:46

i have a border collie and yes they are as mad as hatters, brainer then me and they run rings round me!!!
good for training pick things up very quickly.

FfreckleFface Fri 04-Sep-09 22:45:34

2shoes, I love staffs too.
sunshinesbrightly - mine aren't especially graceful at times, although Girldog was fab at agility when we took her to classes. (Boydog, alas, just weed on the fences and chased the other dogs. Sigh. At least he's pretty.)

There is a pic on my profile of the two of them on the sofa with Bloke and the baby.

BettyTurnip Fri 04-Sep-09 22:46:01

Golden Retrievers without a doubt. Hoping to get a pup very soon (if we get throught the breeder's interview!).

Have never seen Rottweilers described as graceful before...

2shoes Fri 04-Sep-09 22:47:31

FfreckleFface we have had 2. they are beautiful dogs.

thesunshinesbrightly Fri 04-Sep-09 22:51:06

FfreckleFface they are lovilyenvy

your baby is a cutiesmile

FfreckleFface Fri 04-Sep-09 22:51:12

And are awesome with children too. I would definitely consider a staff if (gulp) anything happened to the rotties.

Am adding a more recent pic of the dogs to my profile.

thesunshinesbrightly Fri 04-Sep-09 22:53:36
