most of you know that our monster 10.5 stone puppy is rather fond of stealing organic pork/venison sausages/cheese

and has licked up baby sick etc off floor (quite helpful grin)

today he ate ...........

SHIT

yes he ate a pooey nappy blush that must have fallen from bin in garden and had poo smeared round his chops shock

and let me tell you his breath wasnt that great this morning and this evening he stunk!!!!

<blondes heaves>

thank god, im not going to see him for 21 days - hopefully he would have been to see his lady in the van (portable poodle parlour) who will brush his teeth!!!

FluffyBunnyGoneBad Wed 12-Aug-09 23:36:05

Ewww! I now know why he's called monster. Gross!!

spugs Thu 13-Aug-09 09:46:21

grim grin

Bella21 Thu 13-Aug-09 10:38:30

Bleugh!!!!!!!!!

And you have the temerity to question my use of hot dog sausages as treats? shock

diedandgonetodevon Thu 13-Aug-09 10:43:11

You are not alone! My crazy mutt has somehow developed quite a taste for all things shit. She thinks baby, cat or sheep turds are all fair game [boak].

jeminthepantry Thu 13-Aug-09 10:53:30

Our (now dead) old dog used to eat baby poo too, and was often seen with a used breast pad in his mouth <boak>

jeminthepantry Thu 13-Aug-09 10:55:35

He also dug up a 2 day old horse placenta that had been buried, and then guarded it ferociously...

Bella21 Thu 13-Aug-09 11:05:13

Horse placenta I find more acceptable than baby poo.

Not sure why hmm

morethanyoubargainfor Thu 13-Aug-09 11:15:26

sorry blondes but i can't stop laughing at that, its the way you tell them!

When i stop laughing i will probably be wanting to heave as well, but at the moment i will stick to laughing!

Blondeshavemorefun Thu 13-Aug-09 13:34:14

BELLA you GIVE your woofas hotdogs

<blondes shudders>

where as monster TOOK it upon his self to steal/eat it

DIEDANDGONETODEVEN its just rank!!!

JEMINTHEPANTRY - how on earth did your dog know to dig for the placenta? or was it a lucky find grin

MORETHAN i aim to amuse grin

and nappy was in a nappy sack as well - so found that have chewed up

why on earth would he want to eat/chew poo hmm

doesnt he get fed enough with all the organic meat he steals gets

TrinityRhinoIsInDetention Thu 13-Aug-09 13:37:12

my dog trainer <preens> said they eat poo because it still has protein in it and they can smell it in it

I just say BOAK

had a fab first time withmy dog trainer, he is brill

none of the 'eatring first' 'not going through doors first' crap

he is great

Bella21 Thu 13-Aug-09 17:20:41

Glad your trainer's good, trinity wink

Dd just caught me chopping up hot dogs for pup training and is begging me for a hot dog after organic free range casserole I am cooking now grin

TrinityRhinoIsInDetention Thu 13-Aug-09 19:05:55

lol my trainer says hot dogs are grat for training

and reassured me totaly that feeding him my home cooking is great

also did you know dogs love raw whole, IN THEIR SHELL eggs

he just gave duke a whole egg and he chucked it about till it cracked and then just wolfed the whole thing, shell and all grin

Blondeshavemorefun Fri 14-Aug-09 10:49:35

no child would BEG and eat a hotdog of their own accord shock

and eggs eh - we have chickens so have free range organic eggs - MIGHT let woofa try one

he seems to eat poo other stuff quite happily grin

KingCanuteIAmAndTheDMCanFOff Fri 14-Aug-09 10:56:30

It would seem that different types of poo are good for the flora in their little tums.... hmm

Anyway, I have managed to wean pup off dead things and we kind of have poo under control so I am hoping for a clean breath smell sometime soon - there is nothing like having pup come up for a cuddle only to be blasted with hot bottom breath grin

Blondeshavemorefun Fri 14-Aug-09 17:50:20

welcome back smile

and yes nothing worse than pooy breath in the morning

last mr blondes doesnt have that!!

KingCanuteIAmAndTheDMCanFOff Fri 14-Aug-09 22:42:04

<waves> grin

So, has Bella really gone then? I was sort of hoping she would be hiding out on pets??

Blondeshavemorefun Sat 15-Aug-09 12:52:47

why would have bella gone? <puzzled>

have i missed somethingsad

KingCanuteIAmAndTheDMCanFOff Sat 15-Aug-09 12:54:56

Look in active convos at the daily mail furore.

Bella turned up early on to say it was one step too far for her and she was offski.

I was hoping she would be over here but it looks like she isn't sad

Blondeshavemorefun Sat 15-Aug-09 12:57:27

oh

what did mail say?

will go and read now

KingCanuteIAmAndTheDMCanFOff Sat 15-Aug-09 13:03:38

They are running a weekly column "This Week on Mumsnet" and lifting threads without permission of HQ, posters or anyone else.

People (including me) are not happy about the fact that anything we have ever written here may end up in the Daily Mail.

Blondeshavemorefun Sat 15-Aug-09 13:26:23

im reading through the 2 threads and 20ish pages of each

i agree no one wants their comments on DM

but

also whatever you type on here can be read by anyone 24/7 anywhere on the internet

so never put too much personal info up etc

KingCanuteIAmAndTheDMCanFOff Sat 15-Aug-09 13:47:10

lol - it takes some getting through doesn't it!

It is not quite so simple as limiting personal stuff tohugh, situations people talk about are recognisable, the way people talk about things can be recognsiable even without personal info being there to back it up.

The chances are that you do not know another MNer, you may meet one or two but the chances that you know someone that could/will/does read the Daily Mail? Well I doubt there is a single person who does not fulfil that criteria.

Lets face it, your situation is pretty recognisable isn't it? How would you like it if a thread where you have discussed your dog/grandmothers dogs and the dc was printed in the Daily Mail? Your employers would recognise you - worse than that people who know your employers could recognise you/them too without your employers even being aware of it - how about this dad is at work "oh, I hear you are planning on breeding your dog" "pardon, where on earth did you hear that" "oh your nanny was talking about how it keeps humping kids in the Daily Mail this morning"......

KingCanuteIAmAndTheDMCanFOff Sat 15-Aug-09 14:13:43

Seems Bella has even got rid of her email address which I have to say I am a bit upset about sad

Blondeshavemorefun Sat 15-Aug-09 14:25:43

true king

so why has bella left - i havent seena nything she wrote on that threads (yet)

im skimming through both- veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery long grin

and why delete her email address - that isnt on for show on here? sad
