Kennel Club Registration - by breeder only?

The breeder said she didn't register the puppies with the KC in order to stop them being showed as she doesn't agree with it but I would prefer her too simply because my other pedigree is registered. She will be a complete family pet but I just like doing it!

Can I register her?

Don't think so. Don't you have to send them both their grandfather's certificates, plus your inside leg measurement?

My Mum is a pedigree dog breeder and it is normal for a breeder to register the litter with the Kennel Club then sign a formal transfer form when the puppy is sold.

If a litter is not registered with the Kennel Club or the breeder will not cooperate I think you wil have a difficult task. My advice is ring the Kennel Club and explain the problem and they will be happy to advise.

Other than that the easiest way is find a Kennel Club registered breeder who is happy to cooperate and register their litter.

I know but we have her now, I can't return her to find another.

Both parent are KC registered and have a really good family history.

I felt I couldn't say 'I want her registered' becuase she was making out like if people wanted them registered they were going to show them and keep them in cages which isnt the case obviously!

If I rang the breeder could she still register her for me?

Dis, do you want to breed from him/her? If not, does it matter that much? Apart from it being like a certificate your dc gets at school, or something .....

2 sugars my pug is kc registered and i just like them to be, for no reasons, no breeding or showing.

I just think if i paid alot of money and would like her to be registered as it seems to be the thin thatsdone automatically with KC parents anyway.
