I like people's names for dogs. If I had a bitch I'd go for:
Tess
Lucy
Flora (there's an mn Flora pup already)
Flo
Bess
Milly
Molly
Betty
Sue

Nala ? - from Lion King (we have a Simba)

Normal "girl" names are nice, eg Sally.

Our neighbour had a dog called Norman!

My girl is called Lara (Doctor Zhivago not Tomb Raider), and I know a beautiful male called Rommel which I thought was very good

What about,

Otto
defa(as in d for dog!)
Marmite
toffee (especially if she is two colour)
zoe
mimosia (mim for short)

We let our 5 yo DS name our puppy and he ended up being called Victor! Could have been alot worse, and it actually suits him!!
