what do you do when your fish has got a gravel stone stuck in it's mouth? My big oranda has got one stuck and is starting to struggle....its been there for about 15 minutes that I have seen....please help....I don't want another pet dying on me.....
Titania... might sound stupid and obvious, but have you tried catching him and helping him dislodge the stone by applying slight pressure from the back of the 'mouth corners'?
i havent got anything to catch him in........
Sorry...thought it was cookery advice you were after..
it does look really really stuck/......god knows how it managed to get it in there in the first place!!!
cant get it.....damned it......its really stuck.....
silly fish. hope you get it sorted soon. sieve, tea strainer, colander, hands!!
not sure how big your fish is, but once you got it you could try gently inserting a toothpich from the corner of the mouth?
you might want to try a fish chat board...
