Wasn't sure where to put this - did anyone hear something in the news about dog knapping?

Yes, it's rife around here - NEVER tie your dog outside a shop and leave it.

Make sure your garden is quite secure too and the dogs aren't out for ages (like over half an hour or so) unchecked

What breed is it 2sugars? Some are targetted more than others

been going on for years, some pedigrees are stolen to order so watch out. i only ever leave my dog outside the local shop and check on him. would never leave him anywhere else.

also when i got my kittne from a rescue shelter the lady (bit eccentric) said to kee pthem in the house as cats locally were stolen for the fur trade!

I don't leave my dog anywhere, outside a shop, in the car or anywhere - he's a very desirable ruby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - you don't see many. for that family who left their dog in kennels.

don't have the dogs name on its tag, it makes it easier for the thieves to have control over it. have it microchiped and a tag that says so. consider to have it neutered when the time comes because that can put off some thieves as well. don't leave your dog in the car as thieves actually break into cars to get a dog.
