Keep asking around, some are doing it. My SiL got her dog done yesterday.

It depends on the risk of the dog isn't neutered if you follow the RVC flowchart

Depends. If a dog needs to be neutered because of pyometra then it’ll happen. Why does it need doing?

It varies a lot between vets. Some don't have enough staff to do routine work at present. The government hasn't classed vets as key workers so if a practice has vets with kids then those vets will be working reduced hours as they have kids at home they can't get in school.
I can't comment on the urgency of dog neutering but of may be worth trying other practices.

Ours have done routing neutering all along. Our kitten was neutered on Thursday.

Sure our vets still doing neutering, as they had a dental treatment offer on a while back. Since first lockdown they've been running as normal apart from not allowing clients in the building just the animals to protect staff and doing all the owner consult outside.

We had our kitten spayed a couple of weeks ago. All seems normal other than outside consultations as a pp said

Sorry. He's a male 7 year old pug with behaviour issues (humping). We have been advised that he should be neutered anyway and may help with this issue. We would like to move in with my partner who also has a dog and the pug in relentless.

He was booked in a year ago and it got cancelled.

Can you contact your own vets surgery to ask if they can arrange a date to book him in? I'm a receptionist at a vets and we are booking in most routine ops now.

If your local vet won't do them, ring round the local area - I'm sure you'll find somewhere. We got our kitten in for neutering within a week of calling.

@cleowasmycat humping isn’t a sexual behaviour. It’s unlikely to be stopped by neutering.
There’s also an implant that is temporary if they’re offering that. Could let you see if neutering would actually make a difference.
