I noticed my cats scratching around November treated them with advantage and this seemed to have sorted the cats out however I am now being bitten. I have used 3 different types of spray and in January had the council out to spray the house. Still getting bitten a month later. I am taking the cats on Friday for their annual jab so will talk to the vet. Does anyone have a recommendation for treating the home? So want to get this sorted.

Indorex is brilliant. Just be aware that if you have a bad infestation you may need to go round the house twice.

I have only seen one in the whole time we have been bitten. I get the majority of the bites. I suspect it is the sofa I sit on. Can't see any on the cats but it will be interesting to see what the vet says tomorrow

To be honest sometimes especially in winter when the heating is on, it's just the life cycle of fleas you're seeing. It doesn't mean new infestation. Hoovering every day without fail, more if you can, will get the eggs to hatch and they'll be gone sooner. If your cats have been treated with advantage that's pretty good stuff and usually more effective than frontline. That combined with indorex and loads of hoovering you'll be shut of them soon.

Hoover daily all carpets and corners. You can get flea powder and spray. Leave it on carpets and furnishings. Get a prescription flea treatment from the vet. Let your cat once treated in every room it's a killing machine then and every flea that goes on your cat will die. It can take up to 3 months to get rid of the fleas as it won't be just fleas but eggs that then hatch.

I have 2 dogs and 2 cats.... we had an awful infestation back in Oct - tried so many different treatments. Eventually vet prescribed stuff and Indorex worked.

I usually buy Advantage Multi for Cats at Pet Pharmacy. I have two cats and a dog, so it is important to take care of all of them because if one of them has fleas, two others will be infected for sure. And it will be harder and more expensive to get rid of fleas. Having tried several products with no result, I finally found Advantage. It always works and is worth its money.
