Cat vaccines

My 5 yr old cat had her vaccines yesterday and will have a second lot in 3 weeks. I missed them last year, I thought it was every 2 years. I adopted her when she was 3 yes old from a cat shelter. Can she go outside or will I have to keep her in until a week after second lot?
