Tried everything!

Hi, so I have a 10 month old Shih Tzu puppy. I'm 22+5 weeks pregnant and he will not stop biting! He is fine with children and babies, never bitten one at all. However I am terrified that because of his biting, he WILL bite the baby once he is here, especially out of jealousy.
We have tried everything. Shouting, yelping, light but surprising taps to the nose or behind, putting him in his cage when he's been biting too excessively (we have figured out he also has separation anxiety), even training him hasn't worked.
We are terrified that once baby is here, we will have to sell the dog because he's just not complying!

Any help would be great x

Have you been to any puppy training with him? It sounds like you need that. Training WILL work but it's finding the right methods and really sticking to it. It won't be an instant fix. See if there's any Dogs Trust Dog Schools near you www.dogstrustdogschool.org.uk/

At 10 months he should not be biting and should definitely be over teething. Has he had a thorough vet check to make sure there's no medical issues that could be causing this? Is his hearing and eyesight ok?
