how do i give it to the cat?...break it into bits and mix it in her foods all in one go?

oh god, if you find a solution to this, please tell me...!!! The vet forces our cats' mouths open, shoves it down, and then rubs their necks til they swallow.. Can I do that?? No. I'd end up with bite marks all over... I'd try breaking it into food I think.

Hope it works!!

break it up with rolling pin and sprinkle it on food - obviously this will be the time your cat decides to leave part of the food

don't try whole tablet - there will be blood, screams and tears (and they won't be the cats )

My absolutely foolproof method for getting tablets into cats is to enrobe the pill in some cheap pate, the stuff that comes in a fat plastic sausage. My cat will not eat food that has crushed tablet sprinkled on it, but this method has never failed yet. HTH

hello. Im a vet nurse. For cats the best worm tablet is milbemax. Its very small and generally cats dont have trouble with it. It is a little more expensive than drontal. about £4 a tablet. you can also buy pill poppers from vets. about £1 and they ar similar ti syringes and very easy. doing that once every 3 months shouldnt be too bad. you can give it to her in her food but the only reason we sometimes advise not too is that if they dont eat all the food they wont get the full dose. hope that helps

droncit are the worming drops. they are nice and easy too x

Hi, Droncit spot on only treats tape worm, you can use it in congunction with advacate/straonhols that treats fleas and round worm or you can buy a spot on that does both from your vets called profender. it is a bit more expensice than the tablets but worth it if you have a monster.

At most vets a nurse can give a wormerfor just the price of a tablet.

Good luck
