Cat keeps bringing mice and rabbits into the house-help!

It is getting worse, I have spent the last hour trying to capture a mouse to release it back outside to freedom. It is becoming more regular and it isnt something I have ever experienced with our previous cats.

The cat brings the creatures through the cat flap. We can't lock the cat flap to keep the cat out as there is a very aggressive and territorial cat who is ripping our cat to shreds.

Has anyone got any tips?!

Has your cat got a collar with bell? If not try one.
And do you tell your cat off when she brings them in? We shouted and sprayed water on our cats when they bring things in and it's very rare they bring anything in now, they still occasionally bring things into the garden but never into the house.

Perhaps look into an outdoor enclosure for your cat so it can't hunt? Set it up near a window and puss can still get in and out without A) being ripped to shreds and B) doing any shredding of wildlife.
