is it normal that my cat sleeps in the sink?

The bathroom sink is his prefurred resting place which I originally thought was sweet but now I am a bit anxious, as a friend told me it is usually because they are in pain.

DC seems ok and his usual self but just wanted to ask if this is normal?

Many Thanks

Mine took to sleeping in the dish drainer at one point until I was able to dissuade him...

My ginger Tom (dearly departed) used to sleep in the sink all the time.

Quite disconcerting when you needed a wee in the night and couldn't be bothered to turn the light on!

Mine prefurr the bed Grin

But I see lots of pics of cats in sinks so if he seems fine otherwise I'd not worry

Mine sleeps in the bathroom sink in the summer, I guess its because it's cool, as she prefers mine or the dc's bed the rest of the year.

My old cat used to sleep in the sink lots. It was rather inconvenient!

My cat sleeps in the sink sometimes. He does it when it's hot. I think it's because the porcelain is nice and cool.

Mine do too. It's warm after I've washed my face.
