Tom cat sprayed in my bedroom

Left my bedroom window open today and came home to a horrible cat smell in my room. Not my 2 cats as they don't have access to upstairs so guessing a neighbours cat came in Angry I've sprayed pet odour spray and air freshener but can't work out where it's coming from. 'Friend' is on his way round and my bedroom stinks! Not a very alluring smell for bedroom activities Hmm

Tom cats do this as a means of marking their territory. I would suggest leaving the window(s) wide open to air the room and when you get time give it a good scrub down. In future though just make sure windows and doors are closed if your not in there xx

Get a black light - cat urine shows up with a black light. Other than that - crawl around on your hands and knees and meticulously smell every area of the room - spray is normally about 6 inches up from the floor (at cat arse height Grin). Use cloth with disinfectant (zoflora's great!) and follow up with a damp cloth and some bleach. Leave it dry, if it still smells repeat. Tom's spray is VILE!
