Currently any animal found deceased can be discarded by councils without even attempting to locate the family they belong to. Anybody who has a pet can understand the devastation and upset not knowing can cause. There's a petition online now calling for all councils to take reasonable effort to contact the family. Please can you spare a moment to take a look and sign if you have time. I am in no way linked to this but do feel strongly that it's something all animal lovers would like to know about thanks
