Crush it into powder (we find pestle and mortar works well) and mix it in with something irresitably delicious - prawns, chicken, the crap from under the fridge (irresitible to mine). I usually find that if you give them something better than they were expecting they often wolf it down incase you change your mind.

I wrap mine up in a towel like a little old lady.Spread a towel on the sofa, put the cat on the towel, right in the middle and wrap the sides over the cats back. Make sure it is right under its chin and the front legs are flat to the body so when you wrap it up it looks like a sausage roll and cant scratch you! Keep it fairly tight, turn the cat on its back, gently open the mouth with your finger and drop pill in. massage its throat for quite a while to be sure it's swallowed it. My mad siamese is on a ten day course of antibiotics and she's an expert at secreting tablets it her secret mouth pouches then spitting them out 5mins later! This method seems to work. Most of the time!

Just remembered a tip my vet gave me. Use 2 spoons to crush tablet between. Mix the powder up with some butter. Smear the butter on the cats front leg and the cst will lick it off. I tried this method which worked a treat other than my other cat licked it off instead!

nursetigger6 there is a new wormer on the market which is a spot on, can only be bought from vets, supermarket one not effective, should be priced about 50p to £1 more expensive than a tablet but worth its weight in gold
