Does anyone know a lot about budgies?? ours may be egg bound... please help!

Think our old budgie might be egg bound. Have googled and that seems most likely.

She is quite old. Have made emergency vets appt for today. Have never even been to the vets before. She is our only pet and had her 12 years.

Please can anyone advise? Can she be helped by the vet??? Have very sad feeling that she wont be coming back from todays appt
DH will have to take her, I will cry too much

Anyone who knows about budgies or has experience of this, please help...

Good luck. If our hens are egg bound we out them in a lukewarm bath of water to relax them. Hope the vet is helpful.
