Autistic Michael Sandford needs your help

I am working on a high-profile campaign which has just been launched, which I'm sure many parents out there, especially those with autistic children, will be able to sympathise with.

On 18th June at a Donald Trump rally, a young British man named Michael Sandford attempted to grab a police officer’s gun to “kill Trump”. Michael is on the autistic spectrum, and has been charged on three counts, meaning he faces a potential 30 year prison sentence. He is currently in a mainstream US prison, which cannot provide all the help and support that he needs to cope with his condition. Not only is he on suicide watch, he also has no way of contacting his mother Lynne in the UK. I'm sure you can imagine how incredibly traumatic this situation is for both Michael and Lynne, who is currently living in Dorking with her three year old daughter.

Our aim is to raise enough funding to facilitate Michael’s repatriation so that he will serve his time in the UK, under the correct kind of authority for someone with ASD.

Anything that you can give will be so greatly appreciated: //www.crowdjustice.co.uk/case/michaelsandford/

Your help could make a huge difference to Michael and his family.

Hi michaelsandfordcampaign,

We think your post may work best in Petitions so we've moved it across for you.

Goodluck with your campaign

Hi there,

Thank you very much for doing so, I did also post in Petitions myself as I emailed MNHQ a few days ago and was advised that either Petitions or the Charities Noticeboard would be a good place to post :)

Many thanks for your help!
