Even good and outstanding ones which have a good relationship with and are well run by their Local Authorities shock.

Apologies if people have linked to this petition already within the other threads on this topic but I though that the petition deserved its own thread.

Does anyone know if there are planned demonstrations against this or how to organise one confused?

There are already 80,000 odd signatures so amother 20,000 will force a parliamentary debate.

Is this a different one to the ones on the other threads?

I don't know - there is also a 38 degrees one but I always think that the parliamentary petitions are more effective - maybe I am completely wrong.

Yanbu, I had signed the 38 degrees petition but hadn't come across this one. Thank you for spreading the word.

Good news - the 1st petition is up to 109,000 signatures and the second 98,000. So both will be up for debate.

There is a demonstration in London on Wednesday if anyone wants to go.
