First and foremost I am a mother but I am also a campaigner and it greatly concerns me about further budget cuts to our Police. Politics should not be coming into the equation this is very much about public safety and using common sense. Furthermore, with my work experiences in the criminal justice system I can see the wider picture and I feel it's time government must now sit up and listen to communities, families and victims and take a more sensible approach. We have a duty to our children and future generations to ensure we all feel safe from any form of victimisation in our homes or out on the streets.
As a victim of long term stalking I have started a petition as a platform for communities, families and victims to voice their concerns. Below you will see an article that was produced by a local paper highlighting my campaign.

You may or may not wish to do so but I felt it right that I approached you so that you may have the opportunity to show support for this petition and public safety. News of this petition is circulating on social media but there is still more work to be done for voices to be heard.
I do hope that you will reflect on this in a positive way.
Kind regards
