Hi Can I ask you all to support the goverment e-petition for Ben Needhams case to get the same UK police support as the Madeline McCann case.

I just can't imagine how you would cope if you child suddenly disappears.
I am aware there are possibly others my heart goes out to them too.

I don't know who to link to the petition.

Whatever happened to the 'lead' earlier this year when there was a gypsy man that was reported to be Ben? Did they ever do DNA tests on him?

I wish the authors of petitions would get somebody to check them over for spelling and grammar first.

It may seem trivial but I bet it puts people off signing.

I hope no one would be so up themselves that they wouldn't sign a petition requesting help for a child because of spelling fgs.

oh fuck off yourself. I'm just saying that if you go to the trouble of setting up a petition at least take the time to make sure it reads well and contains accurate information.

Nancy66 not all missing children have publicity teams and PRs to write and precheck any public statements.

I imagine that they're doing the best with the resources available to them.

It's shocking that Kerry Needham hasn't even had a letter in reply to the one she sent David Cameron asking for more support to find Ben.

Particularly when other people seem to have had a direct line to prime ministers past and present. But I guess money talks and poor Kerry has none.

Strangely enough grammar isn't the first thing that comes to mind when signing a petition about a missing child Hmm

It certainly wouldn't stop me signing it either, I do think its a shame that all missing children don't get the publicity MM does :(

The grammar point is a low blow. Not everyone is literate. It's not a job application, it is a request for help to find a missing child.

The spelling and grammar isn't even that bad, it's still completely readable. I can't imagine why it would put off anyone if they could help a missing child by signing. Bizarre comment.
