I got the Joe Browns catalogue today and in it is this gem of a T-shirt for 'confident lads'

I am really rather amused at the thought of (presumably rather egotistical) young men strutting their stuff in this - because frankly, no, I wouldn't be impressed

No, I really don't - my English teacher at school used to wince at whilst - and it stuck - I never use it.

I do rather love Joe Browns I must say

They name their women's clothes fabulously .. things like "Effortlessly Flattering Top" and "Stunningly Unpretentious Top"

Part of me wants to believe them. It really does.

No, she was well kool. I best she's dead now, bless her. She was fab. She was a frustrated actress (had decided it was too precarious a profession and went for the sensible option of teaching instead) so when we read any Shakepeare out loud she would assign is all a part, then go "oh...stop...I want to be Macbeth in this bit!"

The catalogue's downstairs - is it a dress-y, tunic-y type thing? There are a few of those I like
