Dear everyone writing "I wasn't phased by that":
The correct word is "fazed" (to be daunted or disconcerted).

A phase is a period of time. It's a different word.

I'm not FUMMING at, or indeed thinking at all negatively about, anyone who uses "phased"; think of it as a tiny fact you've learned today.

(Also it's etc not ect, and CAMHS not CAHMS)

I'll add my pet hate of people saying 'raised to the ground' instead of 'razed'. The former makes no sense at all.

@OhWaffle has her tongue in cheek for that, @Cao77 - a while ago there was a long and hilarious thread on MN where the OP was very agitated and repeatedly told us she was fumming . You had to be there!
