Which one is which, and how can I remember, please?

Practise is the verb. Not sure how you can remember it though!

Think of advice/advice as they're pronounced differently.

So practice/advice are the nouns
Practise/advise are the verbs.

Thank you! The advice/advise might help me remember, and I hadn't thought of it like that before.

British usage in practise, Americans use practice.

Problem is that lots of text and books are in American English so it is easy to get used to American usage. To be honest, I think American usage makes more sense in keeping things simple, but is probably not best practice in the UK.
