Imcomprehensible

DD has come home with imcomprehensible on her list of weekly spellings.

I think it should be incomprehensible, but would like to consult with the wisdom of MN Pendants before making a tit of myself in front of the teacher.

Typo?

They are learning lots of words with an "im" suffix. Impossible, imperfect, improbable and imcomprehensible.

Hopefully it has been included by accident.

The amount of teachers who cannot spell is an absolute DISGRACE.

It's the same prefix but pronounced differently in anticipation of the next consonant.

Sometimes in-, sometimes im- and sometimes -ing as in this case, if we are being very pedantic.

I'm betting on typo. Teach DD the right version.

Penny2012 "the amount of teachers"
Seriously ?
You don't prefer the number of teachers or how many teachers or
even that gloat or lack of teachers ?
