Trick or Treat Etiquitte

DSs (and me) are going treat or treating for the first time tonight.

Any etiquitte we should follow -

They will want to go out as soon as it starts to get dark .

what time does it all start ?

Don't come round to my house. We don't much go in for it. Only go to people who expect your visit and don't object to the practice.

Yes, I am only going to go to houses that I know or show some sort of decoration eg pumkins outside etc

It's popular round here, the teeney kids start as soon as it starts to get dark.

Round here most children will be out between about 6.30 and 8, after most have eaten. They go to friends' houses or other people they know.
