OK so DD 3rd very soon!

The party is for 8, 3 year olds.
The party is in my house!

I have a face painter for the 1st hour! My plan is to set up a craft activity table for the children to get on with whilst waiting for their turn to have face done!

The playroom will also be available with toys etc!

Any ideas what this could be - I'm thinking of buying some paper masks for them to decorate / Colour etc - bringing in the theme of the face painter - but am wondering if this is too samey??

Any other ideas?

Many Thanks

They are three.

They'll be happy just to play. Don't try to organise too much. Have a two hour party at most.

IME all children enjoy decorating gingerbread men, have used successfully at several parties now. Helps to have a few adults around. Decorate buns if easier to make (I have some very sticky ginger bread men recipes!)

Oh yes 3-5pm - NO LONGER!

Whilst not trying to be too fussy I would like to have something going on for the kiddies when waiting their turn for their face, other than the usual toys they play with at my house!

Do you think decorating party hats would be better that face masks? Was thinking I could encourage them to decorate a hat in line with their chosen face design

Or was thinking printing off lots of number jack number 3's for the to decorate or printing off a page with their name on it then asking them to decorate that, then putting them on show in playroom!

Which one would you go with?

What about the name decorating idea which can then be stuck on to a hat/crown. They''ll be really proud to take it home. Have fun!
