Any ideas for a 4 year old boys birthday party?

Smallish - about 10 children.

Any ideas on themes? what to do?

Also, any ideas for party bags? I want to do something other than plastic tat this year!

I really like this website for party stuff even if you don't buy from them you can pinch their ideas! I like their party bag things though, they have some nice little bits and bobs.

Space?

How about a book each instead of a party bag? I'm doing this for DD's 4th birthday party this year with a little gift wrapped Mr Men book for each child. No more expensive than a party bag each and at least it's something they'll keep.

The Party Peices website is fab. I've used their party food boxes before now which I think are great.
