would you use a wedding car (Jag) that was British Racing Green, (really dark-almost black) or is green a no-no?

Its not traditional. But you dont have to be traditional you can use whatever you like

I had a black jag for mine. Friends car. I wasn't really bothered about what colour it was though. Just happy to ride in nice car around Sydney Harbour! smile

Racing green would look fab as a back drop to a white/ cream wedding dress.

I had a burgandy car (of some kind) looked great with my burgandy and ivory dress.

Yes

I used BIL's dads navy saab

Was fine and looked amazing in the pictures(I had navy embroidery on my gunmetal coloured dress athough tbh that as coinidental)

most cars out there seem to be white, blue or silver, so I wondered if people didn't like green.

Skramble you are right about the backdrop to a white dress- hadn't thought of that grin
