Best place to buy paper party bags with handles?

want them for ds' party and can't get them anywhere have trudged round all the shops in our nearest big town that thinks its a city and can't see them anywhere.

I got these from our local catering supplies people, they have a Joe Public shop. We stuck the names on, courtesy of clip art and stuff.

RubyRioja - those were the original ones i looked at today, wish I'd thought of it when I ordered my other stuff from party pieces now not willingto pay £7 plus for next day delivery

can joe public normally shop at a cash and carry?

Have you tried Ebay - I desperately wanted bags that would fit some almost A4 size books that I had found - on ebay you could get a whole range of bags either for parties or bags for shops to sell their goods in and they posted them out and I got them the next day for a really reasonable price.

My DS got a paper carrier bag from a party and they had stuck his name on in sticky letters which was quite nice. Wouldnt spend too much money or time on them as they mainly go in bin 10 mins after kids get home and empty out all the contents on the floor and eat the sweets if there are some in the bag!

thanks fobbald, got some on ebay tonight, nit with handles as I wanted, though.
and so true about them going straight in the bin! They're still cheaper than the plastic ones though
