I use lunch bags from cash and carry and get kids to decorate

I got these from our local catering supplies people, they have a Joe Public shop. We stuck the names on, courtesy of clip art and stuff.

Some are OK, some are mean and won't let you in.

Hobby craft or catering shop might have them as lunch bags

Steal some from boots and customise? [naughty emoticon]
Ask to buy a few from coffee shop?

was beginning to think I'd have to do that! lol

Have you tried Ebay - I desperately wanted bags that would fit some almost A4 size books that I had found - on ebay you could get a whole range of bags either for parties or bags for shops to sell their goods in and they posted them out and I got them the next day for a really reasonable price.

My DS got a paper carrier bag from a party and they had stuck his name on in sticky letters which was quite nice. Wouldnt spend too much money or time on them as they mainly go in bin 10 mins after kids get home and empty out all the contents on the floor and eat the sweets if there are some in the bag!

thanks fobbald, got some on ebay tonight, nit with handles as I wanted, though.
and so true about them going straight in the bin! They're still cheaper than the plastic ones though hmm
