My DD will be 10 in September. She really wants an inflatable disco dome thing in the garden with a few friends over. We’re totally fine with this if it’s what she wants, although DH says it sounds a bit lame. Is a disco dome party ‘cool’ enough? She is very sensitive and quite young for her age. She still loves Barbies etc but is ashamed to admit this to a lot of the people in her year for fear of being teased. I just want her to be herself and do something she’ll love, but would hate for her to be teased and embarrassed. I’m also a bit worried that two hours with just a disco dome and some food would be a bit boring? Any advice appreciated! TIA
