Has anyone had one- or been to one.

I am thinking of booking one for dd ( she will be 6) as she is science mad and she has loved the science shows experiments at the science fair.

A few questions if you have booked them

How many kids did you invite, dd wants to invite her class which is fine as I don;t like leaving kids out but by the time we add on children in the family and close friends that comes to about 37 and there prices only include up to 20 children and an extra £8 for extras. It says on the website to book a special event for larger parties but is about 40 kids plus parents if they stay a larger party?

Are you mad?

40 kids?

She wants to invite her class?

Is this for real? Surely not........

Been to a mad science talk, it was pretty good tho rather technical (for me lol). DCs aged 8, 6, 4 were with me and a lot of the talk went waaaaay over their heads but they loved the hands-on demo bits so make sure there's lots of that included when booking.
There were maybe 20 kids at this event and they all got the chance to have a go at some things, others were picked out the assist on some bits.

I would say 40 kids was an awful lot for any kind of party and this will work out very expensive, by the sound of it. Do you really want the whole class there? There are deffo some in DD's class who are never coming to a party I host again after last year.
