DS1 is having his 5th birthday party in mid-August. Can anyone recommend a good children's party entertainer in the SW London/Surrey area?
Thanks.

Lyra, I tried to get a recommendation for one in SE London and only had one reply! I did a search and noticed that recommendations for party entertainers never get replies!! Annoying, so I just wanted to empathise......

Thanks spud, I'm probably best off looking elsewhere then.

Do you think that it means they are crap?

Maybe not many MNers use entertainers. It's a shame because a recommendation is much better than the Yellow Pages.

Pssst. I started a similar thread about 10 months ago (I live in SW London)and got set upon - it was all a bit surreal.

Look in the archives under party heading in my name - there are some good recommendations.

Be warned - £££!!!

Thanks anchovy, there are lots of good suggestions there. Sorry you got a bit of a kicking - I can't see the reason for it myself.

I can't remember the name - The Action Station, I think, but I went with Bink's suggestion.

They were very expensive but also very good (it was a joint birthday party for DS and DD, so the expense was bearable). I know Bink has had some of the things they do for older children - there is a really good looking "Spy ring" thing for boys which Ds would love when he is a bit older.

Personally, I like bouncy castles - relatively cheap and huge fun!
