Party bags for mainly 3 year olds?

Well, I say for three year olds - in reality, the majority are around three but we have some older children (up to ten years old) and younger. What would you put in?

So far, everyone is getting:

  • a mini bubble wand or pot of bubbles depending on age;
  • a little bar of chocolate;
  • a mini pack of pencil crayons or actual crayons depending on age;
  • possibly an iced biscuit in keeping with party theme depending on my energy levels and whether I make them for the party;
  • and then something else but I'm not sure what! I found some cute post-its and erasers for older ones but am not sure for the three year olds and really not sure for the older ones. Any thoughts?

Am slightly hampered as what older kids would like isn't necessarily the same as the younger ones - so I can't buy in bulk. On the other hand, it means there's more scope for tailoring to the child. Budget negotiable but would prefer not to spend more than £2 per child and less would be good.

All ideas appreciated!

Mini notepad to go with the crayons?
I think that's enough though.
I just did a slice of cake and some bubbles.

We have a 'treasure box' at school gor rewards and the things that go down well across all ages are- temporary tattoos, those rubber popper things, parachute soldier toys, plastic jewellery, cheap small world toys that you can buy in packs from Amazon, disc shooters. Basically any tat that parents don't want their kids building up collections of Grin

Thank you! We've had a couple of party bags this year but as well as sweets, they've always leaned heavily on the plastic tat Grin. And not necessarily the sort of tat that my kid gets much out of at this age - he doesn't have the dexterity for a spinning top, etc.

Any other ideas?
