Ideas for 5th birthday class party

Any ideas for a 5th birthday party? Most seem to have invited the whole class, 30 kids.
The thought of so many 4-5 year olds does fill me with dread, but it's maybe mean not to invite them all when my DD will have been to some of their parties.
It'll not till July, so hopefully could be out doors.
I'd really appreciate some relatively stress free ideas, which aren't too torturous for parents who stay.

Could you invite everyone to your local park for a party picnic? Everyone brings their own picnic and you provide cake and some simple games (stick in the mud, duck duck goose, pass the parcel) and a football or 3.
(As a parent of autumn and late winter babies, this is my dream party that I’ll never have Grin)

I'd hire a local indoor soft play centre and let the kids get on with it while parents chat in the cafe! Unfortunately I've learnt the hard way not to rely on British weather... we didn't have a back up plan for our DD's outdoor party!

I'm planning a whole class 5th birthday end March and am looking for inspiration too. It'll be 25 ish kids. And being as I am the village hippy I need to keep it fairly eco or else I'll be a massive disappointment Grin
Next year it's going to be 6 kids around a campfire. Big parties are not my favourite thing. But it's not about me. It's not. Well, maybe a tiny bit.

What about music, balloons and food if you're brave? Somewhere where you have an indoor space with a nice outdoor space alongside? Like a hall? I'll have a think....summer parties sound so much more appealing

We’re having the same dilemma for ds1 in July. Looking to book village hall but can’t decide on bouncy castle and face painter or an entertainer. This will be the only year we invite the class though the thought of 30 kids plus siblings plus few other friends fills me with dread!
