I didn't do that for my DD's last b'day (her 5th)- we had about 12 out of the 25 instead, around to the house and on the day of the party, when I picked DD up from school before they were all going to arrive, I heard a mum say to her son and who was stood right in front of me -
"no[child's name]you weren't invited, they didn't invite you".
I was shocked, firstly that she'd said it right in front of me but also as she's told her son that he hadn't been invited. His little face looked so disappointed! How mean did I feel?!So next time I'll just invite the whole class to at least make myself feel better!!!

Stuff that for a bowl of cherries.

Class of 20, invited 10 plus 4 family/outside school friends. Got 12 attending including dd and ds.
