Party bag contents for a pottery painting party

I am doing a pottery painting party for my DDs next week. I think I will provide party bags as the item they paint won't be available straight away. I don't want to spend too much as the party is already costing £16 a head. Ideas of what to include so far are sweets but not sure what else.

How old are the children attending the party?

It's an expensive party and I assume they all decorate something to take home? If so, being generous would be a bag of sweets on the way out.

Oh I see the item the make can't be taken home straight away. Have a look in home bargains or the works for the 75p craft kits, they might have pottery ones reduced or just a paint your own kit.

I had small packets of air drying modelling stuff in DS's bags last year. Can't remember where I got them from but they were cheap. I also got some self inking stampers, pencils, rubbers, stickers, a little rubber stretchy man as well as the usual sweets.
Have a look on eBay and Baker Ross. They do lots of party bag stuff for pretty cheap

I'm making my own sweet cones. The bags are 10p each in hobbycraft and I'm filling them with layers of millions, haribo and flying saucers. They look impressive but cost about 50p each.

DDs will are going to be 9 and 7. They are both inviting 4 friends who are similar ages.

The price includes pottery painting, food and an hour of soft play.

The range have some good crafty things for reasonable prices including air dry clay

sticker/grown up colouring book, Amazon have a scented note book and gel pen set for about 3.00.

I took my DDs to Home Bargains and they picked notepads (DD3) and whoppee cushions (DD2). I think I might add a pencil with a rubber that are cheap in B&M plus a small amount of sweets.
