If so...would welcome suggestions on what to put in other than the birthday cake!

Just a piece of cake and some haribos here - time to break that tradition!

Yes!
Mini lego figures or blind bags go down well
And haribo

Mine certainly does. He's happy with a piece of cake, some lollies and maybe a bouncy ball or something. They're still kids at that age.

If at secondary then no.

I'd say no. Perhaps sweet cones and the like, but not an actual party bag.

Year 6 11? A lucky dip and a cup cake.

Secondary? None needed.

I would either have what Lilac says or retro it up with a water pistol and one of those plastic snakes with the joints.

Thanks all. He's year 6. Was looking into a small piece of Lego but it still comes to around £4/5 which with 8 boys works out at a lot. 😳😳

How much are lego minifigures? There might be some Lego Batman ones at the moment.

They have emoji blindbags for 1 pound at Tesco. One of those and a piece of cake would go down well I reckon

Wimbles wilkinsons do small blox sets for £1 like lego but much cheaper! Ideal for party bags.

When's the party? If it's nearer Easter, then get them an Easter Egg each.

Does the party have a theme? If football or sports, then maybe a pack of Haribo/Maynard sports jelly sweets (like jelly babies/hard gums but in the shape of trophies, footballs etc).

A suggestion I've seen on mn many times is to buy a fun mug or beaker( pound shop?) and fill it with sweets.

Thanks all - I've relented and got them all Lego batman minifigures and some colouring pencils from Tiger 🙄😁😁
